Simulation shows only flat line with some spikes in GA / GV regime

Hello,

why does simulation sometimes only results in a flat line while the axis tics are labeled in the GA and GV regime?

See this example from an old blog post:

https://www.circuitlab.com/blog/2012/08/02/80-simulation-speedup-circuitlab-browser-shootout/#comment_10056

It simulates a switching power supply circuit. When I open that circuit and run time-domain simulation, all I get is a flat line on 0 V and 0 A (with some noise spikes going up to GAmps and GVolts). FYI, I'm running it in a recent Chrome browser.

I wonder why this is? Any ideas? Thanks! Dan
