At KS621K30 applications, by Powerex, it is mentioned at page ii that Bx, when exposed, can be useful when using multiple modules in parallel. I haven't found more detail about it. |

And I suggest this Youtube video as intro about using BJT in parallel, with the associated problems you may encounter. (Not directly about Darlingtons transistors, but an intro is ... an intro.) |
