Quick sketch of the circuitry involved in wiring a new tail light and brake light on most motorcycles or cafe racers. Includes running light circuit.
One of my spring projects is to re-wire my wife's old Yamaha. I figure I'll just scrap the stock wiring and run my own.
This is a circuit of my own creation. I sketched it mostly as a way to think out loud regarding the wiring of her tail light. This light is wired 70's-style, with a common ground (the frame of the bike) and only positive DC current carried through the actual wires.
