just checking I'd like to switch a series of LED supplied with 2 AA batteries from Arduino uno. I think 2N7000 will work. Is this a good schematic? I connect drain to LED, gate to ARduino, source to ground. |

You need to calculate the current through the LED. As drawn it will take as much current as the 2N7000 can pass, until one or other of them becomes a lake of molten silicon. What circuit element can you add to limit the current and hold it to a reasonable value? |
