I need help understanding why I can't use a 74LS00 to control the PWM signal to a servo. |

If a servo type PWM signal is inverted will it still work? I'll try a non-inverting gate. |

Yup. I wasn't thinking. Servos won't operate with inverted signal. |

The 74LS00 is a basic logic gate, not a dedicated PWM generator. It can't produce the specific pulse frequency and duty cycle required for servo control. a small world cup |

Yes. But to switch on and off a PWM channel, a 7400 NAND gate fails because it inverts. A 7408 is required. |
