Hi, i am putting together a circuit with a dc motor but unable to find a symbol for dc motors in the build box. Can you please help? |

Lots of items are missing. I usually draw a box and add a label. To model a dc motor functionally would require a whole lot of information and gets very mechanical. A crude model would be voltage source for back emf and a resistor for winding resistance, but this applies at only one speed. See: http://uk.mathworks.com/help/physmod/elec/ref/dcmotor.html?s_tid=gn_loc_drop |

Hi, mikerogerswsm, Received with thanks, still believe the Build Box should be upgraded. There are occasions when the diagram has to be given to someone with less electronics knowledge. Thanks again |
