While salvaging circuit board components, I came across several of these:
Dimensions: 1 1/2" long, 1" wide, 1/8" thick
Appearance: Brown, similar (if not identical to disk capacitor material)
7 numbered leads (tinned)
Number: 1347206J A509-032976 |

let me see... where is my magic wand? seriously, are you going to use it in a homebuilt circuit? As a HAM, you might know a little about meters. Ohming it then hooking it to a cheap eBay transistor tester (about $17) will tell you if there are any semiconductors in it. I think as a beginner you might stick to known parts. Salvaged parts can put you chasing your own tail. "Been there, done that" myself! Good luck. |
