I have a bistable solenoid and I want to actuate both directions using a raspberry pi. Can someone explain the huge voltage drop after the transistor (V2)? Here is the circuit since the "Add Circuit" button doesn't seem to work. https://www.circuitlab.com/circuit/c45xhspy22y6/h-bridge-for-bistable-solenoid/ |

Figured it out. Learned that NPN voltage at the emitter is always going to be less than base voltage. |
