This is just an example for a basic point in CL which should be observed generally: Also with the VCS it should be sufficient to have only one input connected, as it is with the relay (see both in the example): It is a very nice and unique feature of CL to accept single side connected wires and elements, especially when testing parts of a circuit. On the other hand, a simple hint (to make it clear: a warning) that the circuit may not be “clean”, similar to the “use nodes” hint, should be considered: Later, with complex circuits, this hint could be a link, that, when clicked, highlights all points found by the (pre-) solver that could cause problems (think about newbies “contacting” inductors). Using CL’s named “Node” to terminate input and output “wires” (or to use instead of a connector icon) could prevent such warnings. Regards, Sancho |
