As at 120725 22:13hrs UK (BST), if I try to open any circuit in the CL editor, Chromium gives me the "Aw snap" error page and copies this across to all other CL tabs I may have open in the same browser instance. Works OK in Firefox. Both on LinuxMint Debian 64bit. Was working OK 2 days ago and I don't think I've changed anything since (unless CL is cross with me because I installed and ran TINA-TI on an XP virtual machine last night?). Has anyone else found this? |

Hi @signality, We test all our new features against the latest stable version of Chrome and Firefox. The nightly build of Chromium does break somethings, sometimes so hopefully this problem goes away soon, if it doesn't let me know and I'll dig down and try to find the root cause. Is this issue persistent every time you open CircuitLab, or is it only intermittent? Humberto |

Hi @hevans, A bit more info. I've been trying reinstalling Chromium but that's not fixed it so far. The version installed from the Debian repositories is: 17.0.963.78 (Developer Build 125577 Linux) Debian wheezy/sid It may have been before 120723 that the problem started: I'm not sure the last time I used CL on the Linux box prior to finding the problem on 120725. It seems to be only the CL editor page that I can't display in Chromium. Every other CL page and other websites display correctly. However, it works OK on my wife's laptop and on my son's, both running LinuxMint Debian Edition 32bit, Update Pack 3. Mine is LMDE 64bit, Update Pack 4, although this used to work. |

It happens every time I open the CL editor page. AFAIK, the version of Chromium is the same now as before I tried reinstalling it from the Debian repos. I didn't think Chromium (as opposed to Chrome) auto updated. It seems to be only the CL editor page that I can't display in Chromium. Every other CL page and other websites display correctly until I try to open the editor page. When I do open the CL editor page, it is only the editor and any other CL pages that all show the 'Aw, snap' error, not any other pages from sites other than CL. I have tried creating a new user profile as described in: https://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en-GB&answer=95669 I have also completely removed - including the .chromium directory - and reinstalled Chromium from the Debain repositories. Neither have fixed or changed the problem. I've posted a question about this on the Google Chrome Forum: |
