When running frequency domain simulations and tring to add more than 4 or 5 nodes to a graph - if you try and add each point to a different graph you cannot scroll up or down on the pane where you assign measurements to new graphs using the drag and drop interface. So you get "stuck" not being able to lay out graphs for scroll up or down to hide the page at the top or drag items to the bottom of the page to add a new graph |

I use the following "procedure" when I need more than 3 graphs. I have two displays available; only the Vertical resolutions are relevant here (see table). By default, my browser Zoom is set at 100%. After I have entered the expressions for a simulation I change the browser Zoom level (if I need to) and organise (drag and drop) the allocation of traces to graphs. The "table" below shows how many graphs my displays can handle for various vert res and zoom combinations. Then, I return browser Zoom level to 100% (my default) ready for the simulation results/plots. Disp * V. res * Zoom * #graphs 1 * 800 * 100% * 3 1 * 800 * 50% * 5 2 * 1024 * 50% * 7 Apologies for the scrappy looking table, I've not yet learnt how to do columns in comments. |
