I want a circuit that a power supply discharges through a resistor, showing the Sinusoidal Waves that it produces. I've literally got no idea how to go about making this, but this is what I've managed so far. (And obviously, it doesn't work). Would anybody be able to push me in the correct direction please? |

Hi Harry, If you can sketch in CircuitLab what you are trying to do, even if it doesn't simulate, then someone here may be able to help. Unfortunately, what you've posted so far doesn't give enough to go on. |

I did try that, cause that's what I put in the first post. I just have no idea how it would even look :( What I want, is an AC supply (It can be from a DC source, as long as what goes into the capacitor is the same as AC, with the hertz set from a signal generator), where I can change the value for the Hertz, which then discharges through a capacitor, which then discharges through a resistor. Obviously, there's no practical use for this in the real world (or to my knowledge), but it's part of my project! |

There's no picture in your first post and the second post looks like an RC charge/discharge from a square wave source. Is this something like what you're trying to study? or this? Click on the schematics then: Open in Editor > SImulate > Time Domain > Run Time Domain Simulation to see waveforms. |
