I am using an LM 471 in circuitlab and I have noticed that its output current is much higher than an actual LM471. I believe it should be on the order of ~25mA, but in circuitlab it is about 125mA. Am I doing something wrong? |

Sorry to say that you're probably not doing anything wrong. The CL opamps just don't appear to model short circuit current limiting properly. They also do not draw any supply currents as illustrated here: They do not model input common mode ranges and output swings correctly: and please also see: |
