Current direction

Hi,

I'm trying to measure the current passing through a node.

Circuitlab gives me a number, but I'm not sure in which direction the current is flowing. Which convention should I use to read the value?

Thanks

Depends on which side of the symbol you hover your pen upon. Use a simple circuit of a resistor, ammeter and voltmeter to check this out. Hover the cursor on both sides of the ammeter and you will be able to figure out if the current is CW or ACW. Hope i am answering the qns
