Hi all, We'd like to organize these forums better as you've all requested. We'd like to make it more clear that this can be a space to talk tech or talk about projects other than the tool itself. Here is the list of forums we're thinking about right now:
Any suggestions? Thanks! |

That would be good ... I don't envy you the task of trying to organise what's already been posted though. Do it the same way as the "Solved", "Closed", "Sticky" labels? Then they could be added after the fact. Maybe add a forum for modelling tips, tricks and discussion if you think that's distinct enough from CL general help? I was going to suggest a forum for posting models but I think that either falls into what I just mentioned or a whole new area of libraries. :) |

Yes, it's possible that we might try to move some of the existing threads to more relevant forums. Modeling as its own forum is interesting -- I think that's worth considering. How about "Modeling and Simulation" as an additional forum, so that we can include both, "How can I model the TL431?" as well as "How can I use a simulation to determine the input impedance of this amplifier?" An actual place to post completed models is further along our roadmap, and will be under a separate parts library feature, after we finish allowing nested subcircuits, etc. |

I should have clarified including modelling and simulation in the same section but yes, that all sounds good. Especially the nested subcircuits, etc! |

OK, we've now created unique forums and tried to move some threads as appropriate. (Old links to these threads will still work just fine and redirect to the new location.) Let us know what you think / what changes we need to make to make this most useful. |
