Bug Report - Blue background on text

Blue background appears behind some of the text on circuit diagrams. It's quite annoying but can usually be removed by dragging the mouse cursor over text with the blue background.

This bug occurs when clicking on any portion of an existing circuit diagram. I can't say 100% for sure but it might be more prevalent on diagrams that result from combining more than one existing circuit using copy and paste. I've tried rebooting and restarting my browser but this has no effect and the bug persists.

The color might be the same as used for the message "Press ALT to cancel auto-select and smart wires"

Browser: Firefox ESR 31.5.0

OS: Win7 Enterprise

I have a screen shot of this problem for part of a circuit but none of your suggested methods for uploading given in the formatting guide are compatible with various restrictions I have to follow due to my employer. Can I email in a partial screen shot?

If your company allows you to use CL then can you create a schematic with your image posted into it like this:

and then share it unlisted or via the Controlled Access list feature?

OK, I shared an example curcuit to you only called blue_background

Sorry djarmst,

No point sharing it with me. I don't work for CL. I just loaf around the forums and help out where I can.

You need to share it with mrobbins or hevans:

I copied a small part of the circuit that shows the blue background on the text and made it public, rather than sharing it with restrictions. Now anyone should be able to see it.

To make it easy for people to see, you need to publicise the link to it too:

This problem appears to not be due to a bug in CircuitLab but due to a bug in some versions of Firefox. Chrome isn't a supported browser where I work but I can run it if I want to, so I installed it and the blue background problem is gone.
