How do I save changes to a circuit. Do I have to save it with a new name or is there a way to save the changes under the same name ?

If you want to not overwrite your original file with the changes then:

Editor > File > Save As

or

Ctrl+Shift+S

Now, in what way did I not answer your question the first time?
