In TDS with a Parameter Sweep one would expect the results for each value to be independent from each other, but it is not. In the following example sweeping R2 from 100M to 500M is OK (?), it plots sinusoidal results for 5 values of R2. When starting R2 from 200k all results are damaged, even these which resistance above 100M.
[ I wanted to find the point where the solver jumps from sinusoidal to strange results, obviously caused by the initial condition "bug", because I can’t understand why o why (bad ?) initial conditions will affect the results for the whole simulation period for one value but not for the other. However, changing R2 step by step (without sweeping) I could not find that value … R2 at 200k is bad, at 200M is OK … But this is absolutely not my point here! ] The point here is: Sweeping R2 from “bad” to “good” destroys the results of “good” values of R2.
