One Diode Rectifier Does Nothing

Hi, I don't know how to get this simple design to work. The diode behaves just as if it is bypassed, i.e. I get positive as well as negative V_out.

Anybody any idea to help me out here?

Move the diode up an inch and you'll see you have a wire behind it, shorting out the diode!
