Is there a chip library available for Circuit Lab? I want to drop in an 8-bit Atmel microcontroller and design a circuit around it? Is this available? |

Nothing like that available (yet). The only parts are what are in the left hand editor panel, what you can create by editing parameters in those parts or the parts that people have created for them selves which are scattered about in CL circuits and the occasional collection on a single sheet. If you need library parts then you might find more (schematic only, no simulation parts) on Scheme-it: http://www.digikey.com/schemeit KiCad or gEDA. |

Thanks for the fast response. I look forward to the day when it can truly replace full simulation software. Until then, I'll continue to poke around and see what it can and cannot do. |
