Hi, I am an electronic engineer starting out as school teacher. I would like to know about simple DC circuits that school children can use to practice a little on ohm's law.... do you have any suggestions? |

Start with very simple things based on a 1V source and 1 Ohms. Then Illustrate that 1V across 1R = 1A, 1V across 2R = 0.5A etc. Maybe even better to do this: 1A through 1R = 1V; 2A through 1R = 2V. Then go on to 1A through 1R in series with 1R = 2V; 2R in parallel with 2R = 1V and so on from there. Illustrate with simple CL simulations like this: Note that there's no ohmmeter in CL. Hi Signality, In fact I did try out the circuit, but I just did not know how to run it. Thank you!! |
