Several new bugs? (image export, circuit simulation)

This appears to be a new problem (have been using CL for months and this was not happening before). I am still using the same browser, but as one can imagine the computer environments keep changing so I cannot be sure the problem is with CL or with my computer. I run Firefox on a Mac.

The problems are:

1) When "export images" from a plot, the browser freezes and after a while gives me the option "script is taking too long. stop it?". If I do not stop it, the broswer keeps trying to do something but never finishes. I never get the PNG exported, which I really need. This was not happening 1 month ago.

2) Often time domain simulations just freeze the browser, again, never had this issue before.

3) Saving circuit diagram to PDF is taking a VERY LONG TIME. Again, this was not the case a month ago.

Any ideas what may be wrong?

Hi Carlos,

Are you still experiencing these export issues? Is there a public circuit you can point me to that you were having problems with?

Thanks!

Seems it has been a problem @carlos1w’s computer,

I've tried my Mac OS X 10.6.8 with FF 18.0.2:

At a plot, the “Export PNG” (Desired … OK) takes about 3”, but the width (e.g. 1024 or 1600) is completely filled by the circuit - I’d love to have a (small) margin of some pixels to cut / paste the drawing into an other application.

Time Domain Sim running here as usual.

PDF takes about 3” and is perfect here (margin).

Yes, I still have the problem. It is when I try to export to PNG plots of time or frequncy domain simulations. Always fail on both of my macs (imac and mac pro). I use FF 14 and up to about 1 month ago I had no problems.

Forgot to say, PDF's of the circuits work OK, but a lot slower than before.

FF is now at 19.0.2.

Suggest you update.

Try Chrome?

What OS?

After updating to FF 19.0.2: Same results as before, no problem here.
