I am thinking of building another project. This time I need to control liquid using a valve and electrical solenoid. What component can I use that will closely simulate a solenoid? |

A couple of ideas to get you started. You could try using the relay component. Or use an inductor with a series resistance and then a current controlled switch to sense when the current in the inductor reaches an appropriate level. If you want to look in more detail, have a look at this: http://www.intusoft.com/articles/relaycd4.pdf The article is not easy to follow though ... :) |
