Hi all, just curious to know whether you have any preferred electrolytic capacitor manufacturers... I'm attempting to bring some kitchen appliances (with old, suspect electrolytics) back to life, and just want a high temperature variety that will last many years. Also, I discovered that there's an entire "BadCaps" community over at http://www.badcaps.net/forum/ dedicated to repairing equipment with bad capacitors! |

Nichicon. The higher spec parts from Panasonic. But for any: read the temperature, lifetime & ripple curent specs very carefully. |

No preferred brand, only hardware design is the problem. “High temperature, nasty vibration and voltage close to rated voltage keeps us in business, this is the way to go.” Regards, Sancho |
