Hi, i dont know how to work with Dependant Current Controlled Sources. I tried a lot of different things, but none of them are working. What its "pP"? I dont know how to assign the control currents. Please help me. |

Current-controlled sources are something we do need to explain a bit better in the documentation -- thanks for pointing this out. Check out this example: In it, the CCCS's "pP" parameter (control port) is set to "D1.nA" -- which means the current flowing into the anode of D1. You can find these names by running a DC solver and then browsing around the circuit with your mouse. When you hover over any terminal of an element, you'll see a little hint in the bottom-right corner of the screen, showing the DC voltage at that terminal, as well as the DC current into that terminal. That will show the terminal's port name (such as "D1.nA" or "D1.nK"). |
