R1 and RL form a potential divider (a 2x attenuator) so putting a 10V signal in will only just reach 5V even if D1 was not there. You need to reduce your time step. You're missing detail at the peaks so you aren't seeing the onset of clipping. If as Sancho_P suggests you reduce R1 or you increase the peak to peak amplitude, then you'll see clipping. Oh and you can reduce the Stop Time. You only need to see one or maybe two cycles at most; you get no extra info from all the other cycles. :) |
