In this day and age of SMPS circuits, can a flyback transformer and basic model of the transformer be created. Maybe include multiple windings? Thanks, Jim |

There's no reason you can't use the untapped transformer symbol that already exists for a simple flyback transformer. https://www.circuitlab.com/circuit/vehv3p/understanding-the-cl-transformer-symbol-01/ https://www.circuitlab.com/circuit/zjq2qt/understanding-the-cl-transformer-symbol-02/ https://www.circuitlab.com/circuit/857879/understanding-the-cl-transformer-symbol-03/ The tapped version works too. Admittedly at present, the multiwinding version is a bit more tricky ... https://www.circuitlab.com/circuit/9gx78t/multi-winding-transformer-01/ https://www.circuitlab.com/circuit/3478pw/multi-winding-transformer-02/ |
