I need help with making a free electron pump circuit.

I am getting 5 volts and 20 milliamps from my earth battery setup. I need to output the charge to a small rechargeable battery and then power output to a string of 2 volt LED's. The next thing I want to do with the earth battery setup is to power a Wifi router. I can put more earth battery setups in place to increase the volts and amps if needed. Even though the meter is showing 5 volts and 20 milliamps I think there are more free electrons available. I have been looking at Joule thief circuits to pump free electrons. I want to use this to supply low power for lighting and other things in Nicaragua on my mission there. I can't comment on the validity of the Wiki page referred to but you will note that most of the literature quoted there is now from the 19th and early 20th century.

If earth batteries were so wonderful in this green energy harvesting age, there would be a lot more recent publications.

I put enough information in the request for help to explain that the potential is from Teluric currents. I have more experience and knowledge than the person who is speculating about the process. An antenna will collectd Teluric EMF but is dangerous. Tesla used this method for a few reasons and you can consider the grounded one an antenna also. Adding the conductive properties in the soil and the insignificant chemical activity help to ground the circuit and increase the surface area and available electrons. You can compare a cloud that builds up potential polarized electrons before discharging through a finite path (lightning). Though the pressure shown by the meter is low it does not represent the body of free electrons available at that pressure. A joule thief circuit is close to the pump circuit I am looking for but I need to stabilize the consistent output voltage and charge a small rechargeable battery when low. With respect, you didn't mention Telluric currents, electrolytic action or pink elephants in your original post.

You just said "earth battery".

You need to characterise the impedance of your power supply - measure and plot current vs. load resistance or voltage vs. load current - in order to understand just how much power you really have available and to maximise the efficiency of any power conversion you apply whether it's a humble Joule Thief:

or something similar that may be used to charge some sort of battery.

You also need to consider:

a) the cost effectiveness of this form of power generation compared to say wind or solar PV + batteries

b) the environmental impact of burying lumps of metal - of varying possible toxicity - in the ground in an area that may have drinking water wells in it.
