It'd be handy to have some lithium secondary battery choices by default, like a few off the shelf 18650 choices (nominal voltage and power capabilities vary by mfg and specific chemistry used) and maybe a couple larger form factor cells like 25-50Ah range. I can supply mfg. datasheets and property values for a few cells in particular if needed. |

You don't have to wait for CL to add them. You can do it yourself. CL doesn't have a library structure that allows you to add parts to the left hand panel menu. However, there is a workaround in CL. You can edit the off-the shelf parts (double click on the part and then click on Edit Individual Parameters), make and name your own parts and save them all in a single a circuit diagram sheet in CL which you then make public. If you give it a fairly obvious name and add some helpful tags then it'll be easier to find. Then anyone can copy and paste your new batteries into their circuits. Here's an example: |
