This circuit represents a 6 point stereo VU meter PCB this is piggy backed on a DOD 1222XL stereo mixer. The mixer (as well as this VU PCB) was 'double ground faulted' & all ICs & most LEDs were destroyed (as well as some PCB traces, transistors & several ICs on the main PCB). No luck trying to find info or schematics as these units are no longer made & DOD no longer exists. while the main mixer is a single sided PCB polluted with 0 ohm resistors (jumpers), this PCB is double sided with an inner 3rd layer. I replaced all 12 LEDs & 3 comparators (LM339s), bench tested with +/- 15VDC & everything lit up good. When I jumpered both audio inputs (pins 2 & 4) each side went out. Not sure if DOD made this type of PCB or it they sub-contracted this to another company. PS: When I did finish repairing the mixer & putting it through its tests, this VU unit performed beautifully!
