Smart Pool Solar Controller - starts pump and enables solar panel flow when panel temperature exceeds water temperature and when water is below target temperature. Keeps track of water flow hours and will also run pump during Super-Off-Peak electric rate hours as needed to meet daily filtration hours requirements. Minimizes use of pump during Peak rate hours, only running as needed to heat water.
Inputs: 1. Solar panel temperature thermistor 2. Pool water temperature thermistor 3. 5vdc, 24vac Outputs: 1. Valve control (24vac) line (for diverter valve, to enable flow to solar panels) 2. RS-485 serial line to/from Pentair Intelliflo Pump (turn on/off pump, adjust speed)
