A friend was having some sound issues with a 2nd hand set of Celestion SL6 speakers. A passive Xover PCB is inside the cabinet & I accessed it by removing the aluminum plate around the speaker & then popped out the speaker (it's not glued in). I then removed 2 swathes of acrylic matting (looks like the filling from a comforter). Then I un-bolted the 2 nuts from the input jacks as these are what holds the PCB in place & also makes the electrical connections to it. The PCB has 4 inductors & 4 non-polarized capacitors & no resistors. Unfortunately the inductor values are not marked & I don't own a 'Z' meter, so I cn only assume that they are in micro henries. Of these, L2 has an air core while the other 3 have iron cores. C1 & 2 are axial non polarized aluminum electrolytics & the other 2 (smaller values) look like metal film types.
