I had read that Phase Shift oscillators typically have 1-3% distortion. Whereas Wien Bridge oscillator typically has .01% distortion. "Table 1" http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snoa665b/snoa665b.pdf

The web taunts us with this “Super Low Distortion” http://circuits./472

.0018% distortion circuit

Many thanks Option, but your circuit is much more complex. I will test it soon.

About my sentece "Phase-shift oscillators have less distortion than the Wien bridge oscillator, coupled with good frequency stability" the source is Par. 8.2 http://www.ti.com/lit/an/sloa060/sloa060.pdf

Thank you for the link. I will get to reading it.
I am not satisfied with any oscillator circuit I have posted,
but I am still researching, and have not given up.
