This is an RLC series circuit, at its resonant frequency, of 63.66kHz.
The peak voltage of the supply is +14.14V, but the voltage across the capacitor reaches a max. voltage of 80V. Likewise, the voltage across the inductor reaches a max. voltage of 80V.
What would happen if I constructed this circuit and supplied the input voltage from a signal generator with an output impedance of 50ohms? Would my signal generator survive the experiment?
