I think you are wasting power in M1. Use a PWM approach to deliver all the power (and therefore heat!) to the clothing and not to the controller). :) See this thread: https://www.circuitlab.com/forums/support/topic/923rgp9z/mystery-component/ for some clues. Different problem but very similar solution. |

Hi Signality, I'm not at all competent in electronics but I've been assured that a power MOSFET will have a lower RSon than the MOSFET available to me in Circuit Lab so the voltage drop across it will be lower than in the simulation. In any case, thanks for the heads-up :) Sean |
