This circuit detects a blown fuse (represented by the switch).

When SW1 is opened, Q1 is ts turned on, saturating the transistor and lighting D1.

R3 represents the load on V1 power supply.

NOTE: I do not understand why the simulator shows ~11 volts at NODE2 when the switch is open, I think its a bug!
