Simple circuit for monitoring an ionization chamber.
This is the simplest possible circuit for monitoring an ionization chamber, taken from http://www.techlib.com/science/ionchamber.htm. The ionization chamber itself is simulated as a current source. Normal background radiation will generate on the order of 75 fA or so.
Right now the Darlington component available in CircuitLab doesn't work AT ALL for modeling this circuit. It doesn't expose any behavioral parameters but it must be some heavy-duty power amp. We need a small signal Darlington so it's built from two NPNs.
