A temperature-compensated ionization chamber monitoring circuit.
A more sensitive and temperature-compensated circuit for monitoring an ionization chamber, taken from http://www.techlib.com/science/ion.html#Improved%20Transistor%20Circuit.
This design uses two two-stage Darlington amplifiers. One stage amplifies the very small current from the ionization chamber while the other one has an unconnected input and serves as a control reference for temperature-based leakage. A differential opamp circuit converts the differential voltage into a single-ended analog reading.
Currently the Darlington models offered in CircuitLab don't work at all for this circuit so individual transistors are used.
