AC Inductor time domain simulation error? Sim shows twice as much inductor current than calculations.
Simple AC series inductor circuit; 60hz, 10V source across 10mH inductor. Inductive reactance equation shown in numerous EE textbooks calculates inductor current = 2.65A. However, time domain sim of same circuit shows steady state current to be approx 5.2A.
What wrong? Me boo-boo? EE textbooks wrong? Quantum effects happening? Inductor model in sim off by factor of 2?
Please help. Thanks.
