Uses a Raspberry Pi and builds on Tweeting Chicken by adding remote control of toy duck and replaces internal Singing In The Rain sound effect with Tweets from Google Translate.
This circuit provides a relay output to feed a toy duck that then moves in response to tweets.
The reed relay has a mimimum must operate voltage of 3.2V which exceeds the Pi's GPIO output level and so an Open Collector transistor was added and the relay coil connected to the 5v rail of the Raspberry Pi.
The headphone output was insufficiently loud to drive the loudspeaker in the duck so a LM386 amplifier board was included.
